2013/14
UNISON rejected the employer's offer. The offer was either for 1.1% with changes to terms and conidions and a change from unilateral arbitration to bilateral agreement. The second option was for 1% on the lowest salary scale points 4-10.
2012/13
The Claim was for a substantial increase on all pay points which recognises the hardship suffered by local government workers, particularly the low paid. The employers responded with a third year of pay freeze and refused a request to go to arbitration. They would not authorise the technical report for car allowances.
